I've been riding bikes for 20 years. This is the BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. Yes, they fixed the mechanical issue I identified at good price. But they found some issues I had no idea about. The found them, called the manufacturers of the substandard parts and got them replaced. In the end they treated my bike like it was their own. I got literally 10X back in value that I paid for the original issue. This is my, hands down, one stop, go to, trusted bike source FOREVER.

Customer Service

Absolutely first rate. The follow up, going beyond the call of duty were the test not only in cycling but the best I've had in the retail space in 10 years.

I won't be buying bikes from them anymore. Both bikes that I purchased werent assembled very well. Lots of parts were loose, headset detailer cables, spokes, hydraulic brakes were poorly set up and some douchebag gave me a hard time about my 90 day free tune up. I asked them to clean the bottom bracket douchebag said okay! When I went to pick my bike up i asked if they did because it still looks dirty and the mechanics response was the computer said it was adjusted lol. he thought that was a good enough answer. not only did they not clean it they also gave me attitude when I called them out on their b******* I'll be spending my next $3,000 somewhere else

Customer Service

Beware! I bought 2 high dollar bikes from them. They are great to deal with as long as you buy. They let you down in case you need service. Had an issue with one of the bikes and was brushed off rudely. They even recommended I could take the bike to another Trek dealer. I took it to Ultimate Bikes and received excellent service, the issue was solved within 30 minutes!

I purchased several high end bikes from this shop and had good service. I then had a problem with a bike sizing (ended up buying wrong size bike ($2500) and a replacement tire installation that blew off twice. At the owner's request, I told him about these situations. The next week, I came back into the store for a minor brake adjustment so I could ride the next day. I was told by the repair person there were 30 bikes ahead of me despite the fact that my bike was already on the rack and the adjustment would take 3-5 minutes. The service person then proceeded to spend 5 minutes trying to sell me the kit to bleed the breaks myself. While not outright rude, it was clear from the repair person's reaction that since I had spoken to the manager/owner about my previous service issues, I would be treated accordingly from now on.

Bottom line, after spending over $5k with this shop and sharing a repair concern, I would be given the cold shoulder when I needed future repairs. I will not be doing business with Bike Line of Charlotte in the future. As a result, I will not be doing business with Bike Line in the future.

Customer Service

As I was sharing with the owner my service issues (as well as telling him of the good experiences I'd had with the shop), he didn't seem to hear my concerns but rather spent his time defending his repair people and saying that my issues weren't their fault. While I respect an owner standing up for his employees, he had little interest in understanding my concerns as the customer.

Completing the story from my last visit to the store...during the time the repair spent explaining how to bleed my brakes and trying to sell me the do-it-yourself kit, he could have completed the repair himself. But rather than doing so, he said thought he could get to it by Wednesday of the following week (I came in on a Friday and told him I planned to go riding on the next day).

After the Bike Line repair person told me he might get to it by Wednesday of the next week, I told him I 'no problem, I'll just go to the Trek store near North Lake Mall and see if they can help me'. I drove to the North Lake Mall Trek store and they adjusted the brakes in about 5 minutes and were very helpful. As a result, I purchased a Trek Fuel EX 9 from them and continue to get repairs and parts from the North Lake store. They're Great!

Great looking shop. Prices are great here and there are always specials going on. The shop is spaced out so you can walk around and not feel crowded. I came here because the LBS in Columbia, SC stink! They have a great website also so you can browse their inventory online. Most bike shops you find don't have that. I recommend checking them out online at Charlottebikes.net. If you do decide to buy a bike here they hook you up with a discount on all accessories for 30 days. Another great bargain for shopping here.

Customer Service

The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to help you no matter what the problem. I purchased a bike here and had to drive from Columbia, SC to get it. By the time I arrived the bike was built and the staff went over everything with me, warranty, parts of the bike, etc and even helped carry it out to my car.

Great selection of all models and available colors. The shop is well laid out so you can actually shop, handle the bikes or even take a test ride.

The organization is thoughtful and practical. Everything is kept neat.

Customer Service

The customer service is why I was recommended to the store from friends. They are experienced, knowledgeable and professional. The staff was also great when it came time for fitting my four year old for his first six speed mountain bike for his birthday present.
