Since the new owner Chris the store is completely changed. This bicycle store they work with you they don't sell you anything you don't need they care about cycling as a whole. This is the only bicycle shop then I will buy my stuff from in the local area!!! Great job keep up the good work.

I have been a friend of the bike shop for years. They have always done professional, top quality mechanic work. Their first concern is always safety, they know bicycles , they know what goes wrong with them, and they know what to do to keep me safe and trouble free. Thanks guys for keeping me safe for ten years now. . My passion is MTBing, it is how I stay healthy. and it has allowed me to make many good friends. There are several weekly road rides that leave from the shop,  Most Sundays at 8:00 AM  we (MTB) will meet in the parking lot,  car pool together to Carter Road/ Joyce Harp park , or Alafia, or Santos, or Balm-Boyette..  The new owner has really worked hard to create a customer centric atmosphere.   Judging by the reviews they are not perfect, but it saddens me to see the obvious narcissistic - takers   who think cheap means quality write bad reviews.   Cycling is about good times, good friends, staying healthy and sharing.... we LIKE our bikes and we like living Life to the Fullest.  Lets ride.   bring the kids.

Brought bike (Cannondale touring) in to have inspected & repair damage from an accident. They did not allow the bike to leave until all imperfections (several fixes) were remedied. Very pleased with the attention paid to details.

I stop in about once a week to pick up gels, tubes and whatever else I might need. The shop has a very good atmosphere and staff are very knowledgable.They have a great selection of bike accessories. While waiting for repairs they have a nice sitting area in the back to hang out.

Customer Service

Their customer service and repair department are really great. While waiting for a tube install I've seen the one mechanic Matt handling several people all at once answering questions from every direction all the while just taking it in stride. On several occasions people have come in who needed minor tweaks to their bikes and were not charged at all.
The shops other mechanic Ed has a following of mountain bikers since he's one himself. Some come from Lakeland and Orlando just to have him work on their bikes. Both have taught me a thing or two about minor repairs that I can do myself to save a few bucks which is going into a kitty for a new bike upgrade. Kris and Andy are mainly front staff and have helped me special order accesories and a Trike for my mom.

Similar Products Used: Overall it's a great shop and worth checking out. Everyone's experience is different but so for I've been very pleased with the treatment I receive. I dig walking into a place and people call you by your first name.

Seems like a money grabbing shop.
Visited to see how much for tune up .... advised it would be $49 - $89 all inclusive.

Brought 2 bikes & guy at rear wanted to replace the chains, rear wheel etc etc .... cost upwards of >$200. Very misleading service recommendations for casual riding & arrogant service rep. The guys at front desk were much more pleasant, not the repair guy at rear. Told him no thanks & walked out. Found a more reasonable place (Bike Barn who suggested to only do the strict necessary. Costs for parts were half that of Bike Shop. Service much more accommodating & reasonable.

Good riddance to the Bike Shop .... will NEVER go to The Bike Shop again. Money grabbing loses customers.

I was introduced to The Bike Shop through a friend, everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable. Brought in my rode bike for a fitting and when it was all done, I felt a 100 times better on it.

Just recently began mountain biking, and after a not great equipment experience elsewhere (customer service was fine), I decided to try my more local bike store. I am pleased with the results.

Customer Service

I purchased a new bike from them, and they've been helpful to me from even before then, even loaning me a FS bike to ride while I was deciding what/if to order from them. When I mentioned the idea of trying clipless pedals, the owner loaned me a set of his shoes and pedals to give them a try (side note: I'm a believer in them now, I think...). Price for the bike was not inflated, and they've been fair on pricing of peripherals since. It's nice to feel like you've been well taken care of, while supporting a local shop. Hopefully that experience will continue.

Similar Products Used: I've been treated well by all the employees I've had contact with while there. Some have been more knowledgeable than others, but if somebody didn't have an answer, they said so, and found a way to get one.

I continue to have positive experiences, whether it’s for the purchase of my Cannondale Bike, excellent post purchase maintenance of my bike, servicing my wife’s Trek or purchasing the variety of quality merchandise and accessories in this Bike Shop.

I have always been pleased with the service I receive at the Bike Shop Of Winter Haven. However, The staff’s professionalism and ability to get to solutions to customer situations quickly, while remaining informative, exceeded my expectations.

Similar Products Used: It’s important to let those with whom you do business know that you notice, and appreciate a job well done. Most of us would have to admit that we've had our share of mediocre service from companies in the past. However, some companies are starting to "get it". They realize that in today's global marketplace, consumers have a greater number of choices than ever. So they are providing better buying experiences for customers to inspire loyalty, rather than depending on fancy ad campaigns alone. Competition is indeed good for the marketplace.

Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to do business with the Bike Shop Of Winter Haven for years to come.

The staff is outstanding. We have purchased (3) Cannondale road bikes from Kris in the last 3 months to include (2) of Cannonadale's top-end road bikes, the Super Six Evo. These bikes are AWESOME. Their prices are very competitive. Give them a chance to match others' offers. Matt is a great mechanic. He has been servicing our road and triathlon bikes for the last two years, and we won't let anyone else touch them now.

Customer Service

Hometown atmosphere with local character. Very friendly staff of avid cyclist. And, oh by the way, the shop is pet friendly.

The shop has a great selection and the staff is very knowledgeable. I have noticed a lot of poor reviews about the shop,s repair department,and i would like to say that last week i was involved in a hit and run accident which left me mildly bruised but my bicycle defiantly took the brunt of the punishment. The front forks were bent, the left gear shift and cable were ripped off, I had two bent wheel, and the rack on the back was also in poor shape. Not only did their service department have the bike bent back straight and riding well that same day, but the parts that they did replace were the only thing i was charged which was not padded Just a to percent standard mark up. If these people were padding prices then i would have charged for the labor. I have been more than pleased with this shop. I am guessing the problem others have had is that just because they ride a bike they think they are experts. Please leave it to the experts!
