Busy shop.

Customer Service

A employee was with me right away, but was working on something while he talked to me. The repair estimate was extremely high--both the parts price and the labor price and the repair was on the easy, low-skill side. The prices on the bikes in the store were way way too high. I felt like I was in a Mercedes Benz dealership repair shop. I thought bike riding was a blue collar thing...

I'M DONE with AJ's. I am just getting into biking & I have a road & mountain bike of which both are used and require repairs & upgrades. So I was shopping @ least once a week at aj's & I have bought tires tubes peddles etc. I always felt like they were rude but I chalked it up as if maybe this is how bikers act. I made a special order & was promised a couple days, after 12 business days still no product & I was told they would place order the next after I complained...No thanks, cancelled order & have since visited other bike shops in Lakeland and Tampa & guess what All bikers are NOT Pricks!!! Just the onces @ AJs.

Customer Service

Always arrogant ...If you are New into biking go straight past AJs to another shop. These guys give a bad name to the sport!!!

decent selection of bikes...

Customer Service

Went in several times to look at a new full suspension 29er. They are very much about telling you wha you want and make the sale. They are Rude. They have terrible customer service and focus strictly on the sale. If your wallet is out they will pay attention. It's the experience of driving in to a car dealer. stay away.

Great shop. great selection but kinda pricey.

Customer Service

I went there to look at a specialized HT and dude tried to shove a Trance 3 down my throat. That Dude was telling me what I wanted.
There must be more Trance's in Brandon Fl then anywhere in th USA lol Everyone is real cool except that that one dude.
REAL cool.

About AJ those people have a bad reputation not to work with the client. My personal experience with AJ was very unsatisfied, I when to tray a saddle as a demo they hold $52.00 from my credit card. After the 5 day I return the saddle because I wasn’t satisfied whit the saddle there respond was, they cannot return the money to my card. I was very unsatisfied with their service, there store is close distant to my house but from now on I will go to a other bike store inTampa,Lakeland & orlando or Riverview any other store except AJ I even ask them if they can give me something ells in exchange they didn’t want to work nothing for me. I grade that store and F I never will do business with them or any of My Bike group, all of their parts or Bikes are over price. Bike fitting is suck they have a kit, he doesn’t now a think about bike, I am very unsatisfied not recommend at all.

This shop is clean & well stocked with bikes & gear.

Customer Service

Customer service sucks!!! I drive a good ways to come here, because of the shop environment. I stopped into to get a parts. When the parts came in, it was twice the cost of what I was quoted. No worries. Mistakes happen. When it came time to install the part, I took it out of package & it was slightly different than what was ordered. I called the shop several times to ask for exchange, not a refund. A total of 4 calls in 2 weeks, kept stating they were busy, but would return my call that day. 2 months later, still have not heard from them. They will never get any business from me again. Customer SUCKS! They are better bike shops in Tampa, Lakeland & Orlando! This review was based on 3 different employees that work here. Not the management. I hope the management has addressed this issue the next time I stop in.

A fairly large selection of good to high end components at pretty reasonable prices. The work they do at the shop is where I think they shine. They are not the cheapest, but they are reasonable, and Casey knows his bikes very well.

Customer Service

Very friendly, not attitude.

Excellent shop... The know there bikes and the technology that goes with it. Everyone rides some form, road, mountain, BMX, cruiser. It is always clean and nice... it is great to see and helps with the positive environment, the couch and tv are a nice touch, it makes it feel like home.

Customer Service

Top of the line. There is a mechanic that competes in every disciplined and they are not afraid to ask each other if they are unsure. I brought my road bike in and spoke to a BMX rider who was able to grab another mechanic, explain the situation, and get it diagnosed properly and fixed faster than I expected.

One last thing... When ever you go into a shop, see what bikes the employees ride. If they are not riding the bikes they carry then they know they are not the best. AJ's rides and believes in what they sell.

Hands down one of the best locally owned bike shops you're going to come across. Everybody there knows MTB riding, and all types, DH, XC, etc. and they all have a passion for it.

Customer Service

Customer service is awesome, I used to go to another bike shop around the area but due to lack of stock, I tried out Ajs and was blown away at the attention to detail they pay to your needs and how much they go out of their way to make sure they can get you what you want ASAP.

They definitely don't put any pressure on you to purchase anything, and their store speaks for itself. Also, I've had trouble in the past with bike mechanics adjusting deraileurs and chain skippage, I took my bike there and their mechanic Casey fixed it same day, now it rides like new again.
