It took them 4 times to fix my Ultegra and its still not right. If you want them to fix your Huffy, its the place to go but I definitely will NOT be back!!

Ringling is stocked well with a large selection of bikes, gear, and accessories. I bought a Specialized Hardrock Disc 29 in Jan. '13 based on their recommendation. As a commuter I was looking for several specific things and the person that sold me the bike was also a commuter ant gave me some other ideas and options to think about. After about 3 trips to Ringling, I was ready to buy and I'm completely satisfied.

Customer Service

They give commuters priority service weather you bought the bike from them or not, and the price is right. If you're not a commuter, they are a little slow, but their work makes up for it.

Good inventory.

Customer Service

My first 10 visits were overwhelmingly positive with the service staff polite, knowledgeable, and patient. Unfortunately, the last visit was the opposite. I was "helped" by the female owner and she couldn't have been more abrupt, rude and indifferent. Needles to say I will not be recommending the shop to others as I have done in the past. She should take note of how her employees treat others!

plenty of what you need in their shop. they will always try to get what you need and have enough experience and expertise to offer an alternative perhaps for less money.
the mechanics are well trained and have always been able to diagnose my problem and in one case probably saved me from crashing by identifying some significant internal corrosion on my stem. This level of care and prevention is paramount to any other issue.

Customer Service

everyone is treated timely and fairly with good practical advice.
repairs are completed on time. courtesy is their moto.
thanks ringly bike shop.

As an avid recreational cyclist, try to support the small independent bike shop. Unfortunately, after repeatedly giving Ringling Bicycle many chances, I have given up and caution others (without passion or prejudice) to beware when doing business with them.
Over the last year I have had four horrible experiences with Ringling Bicycle.
To date;
- I have I have taken two bicycles in to be serviced. On both occasions, the repairs were completed late and work quality poor (one of which I had to returned to get corrected; the other I took to another bike ship and paid to have corrected). I should say, they never went over budget….. but I would rather be told what the bike needs and the cost, than having to guess and play 50 questions over the phone with the tech.
- Over Christmas I tried to purchase a new bicycle for my wife. As soon as I explained I wasn't interested in a $10,000 Kevlar frame, the sales rep moved on to handle another matter on the phone, so I was handed off to another person with very minimal product knowledge.....so I spent my $1,000 elsewhere.
- Finally, their selection of accessories is limited and/or expensive. While I don't begrudge any business making a reasonable profit, the vibe of this place is “buy out of our inventory”, even when the product is less than ideal for the application. Never once did they offer to source a part for me.
On two occasions, I asked to speak to a Manager or the Owner’s. On both these occasions the 5-10 minute wait to speak to someone in authority exceeded my patience to bring my concerns to their attention.
I’m not a high maintenance customer and don't think my expectations are unreasonable……… so I have to believe that I was REALLY and REPEATEDLY unlucky?!?! Nonetheless, unless you are snowbird buying a $250 Beach Cruiser, or a hardcore cyclist looking to shave 3 ounces of your $15,000 road bike, I wouldn’t recommend Ringling Bicycle to friends and family.

Lots of inventory in a small organized space. Many bikes are displayed outside due to space. Awesome workshop with superb mechanics. The epitome of a family run shop, it seems employees are treated well because they seem happy and most have worked there for the 10 years I've been going there. Never a problem getting an adjustment or tune up under warranty. Very fair pricing on repairs.

Customer Service

A really great shop. Very helpful and informative, honest about products and won't try to oversell products for the fast buck. Always seems busy when I show up, but still able to service me in timely manner. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I was looking to possibly buy a bike the other day. It was quite busy in there. They didn't have a 19' Specialized hard rock built at the time but got on it right away and it was ready to ride in a half hour. Even though I did not fall in love with the bike and buy it, they were gracious and did not try to make me feel guilty about it. Classy

Down to Earth owners make every customer feel welcome. I had to do most of my business with them over the phone and overseas. Every bike was meticulously packaged and shipped. I don't know of any bike they can't work on. There are so many brands there I lost track. Mountain, road, triathlon, bmx, they've got it covered. As for mountain bikes they always had what was new and they tested it first before selling it.
