Average size shop. Not a lot of "average" size prices though. I went in there looking for any one of four different mt bike brands I was interested in for about $2200. Not a one in that range when I was there.

Customer Service

I went in this shop twice in my search for my first bicycle in years. Both times, I made an attempt to make eye contact with the employees (who were speaking with other customers) and both times I left after 8-10 minutes of getting absolutely NO acknowledgement. I can understand if you're busy (I am in sales myself), but to not take the 2 seconds to greet a customer is terrible business.

This branch of the chain just opened and since I have high end road and mountain bikes I took my road bike in for service since I have not found many shops in the Tri-Valley offering good service. I was very impressed ;repaired my Ksyriums so that I am riding faster than ever; first shop that quickly noted it was time for a new chain,in the past I would have to insist on replacement. Hopefully their mountain bike maintenance work is just as good and this will be the store for my next mountain bike purchase

Been in here maybe twice, I am not saying it is a bad shop or a good shop because I have no experience in buying anything there.. mainly because my budget is around under $600.

Basically, they carry super high end bikes by my standards, cool nonetheless, but the Pleasanton shop does not have any of your standard $300, $400, $500, $600 buck MTBs to look at. Thats my only gripe.

Joel knows bikes. Great customer service!

Customer Service

Excellent - far surpassing other shops I've been to in the area

I had purchased my bike elsewhere before this shop opened. It was not working for me - I was hurting. I brought it into Joel and he basically said that the bike didn't fit properly. Even though it was the wrong size, Joel made a number of adjustments to customize it to fit perfectly. It is so comfy now and a great ride! I've gone back again and again and sent my friends there too. Cyclepath rocks!

This has to be by far the best bike shop I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The selection of bikes is HUGE both road and mountain, very high-end to the casual rider as well as a great selection of componants and accessories! Located in downtown Pleasanton, very accessible with lots of parking. It shares the building with Bank of America, you'll find it in the back parking lot to the right.

Customer Service

Customer Service? OMG!!! I was about to give up on Mt. Biking all together as I unfortunately have chronic back pain that just seems to keep getting worse the older I get. I stumbled across this bike shop close to where I live and the next thing I know, the owner Joel, asks me a few questions regarding my bike/back issues, measures me up and I'm off demoing mt. bikes. With his knowledge, experience & professionalism combined with a variety of bikes (I actually only had to try 2) he had me so dialed in. My back doesn't hurt, my overall riding ability has improved tremendously and I've got a killer new Mt bike that fits like a glove. I just wish I could have found this shop back when I was racing!

Great shop! Way better than BP!
Sold me a $30 chain for $20!

Customer Service

EXCELLENT! Very friendly, but on a busy day, expect to wait at least 2 minutes, at most 5.

Hands dirty from changing a tire, or installing a chain? They'll give you a hand wipe! =)
