Nice products good selection

Customer Service

Good service. Only complaint is that most shops give you at least 10% off on purchases after buying a bike. Doesn't give super good deals that make you want to drive out of your way to shop there.

I normally go to REI, but this place is close so I just wandered in one day. I'm kinda new to cycling, so I struck up a conversation with another customer that looked like he was pretty serious. I thought I could learn something. He said that he drove down from encinitas, like 50 miles away just to come to this place. I guess that he'd bought a bike from the guy after going to "over 20" other shops. I don't know if that was hyperbole, but he found this guy the most knowledgeble. Then I was talking with a friend of mine that is a serious cyclist, and she swears by this dude.I know jack about bikes, but as far as I can tell the owner's the real deal. If what the shop's website says is true, the guy was a professional in the world of professionals. He didn't just like cycling and open his own shop. His background shows, and he always seems to be there. I've never asked a question and felt that he was in any way unclear on the correct answer. That's different than a lot of places where the people seem to know what they're talking about, but not always inside out. This guy seems a step above. Anyway, I'm going on too long. Just really happy about finding this place. And his prices seem good. He's matched rei in everything I've looked at (not really that many things, though). And he's real personable. Given my good experience, I thought I owed him a review when I came accross this website. Why, you ask was I on this site if this shop is so good. They didn't have a front rack that I want for my mountain bike in stock, so I'm gonna call around and see if I can find a place that does. Want it today.

Extremely friendly shop, easy to talk to and ask questions. Very knowledgable. Outstanding mechanical skills. I've never had to take my bike back a second time for a re-adjust on a repair, which was pretty standard with my old shop.

Customer Service

Over and above all expectations. They've stayed to wait for me to pick up my bike when I had trouble getting in before closing. At one time there was a particularly difficult part to obtain. They were tenacious and kept in touch with me during the whole process. I can't say enough about the great service. Soul Cycles is over 10 miles from my house, but I wouldn't even consider going anyplace else.

Very new to Mountain Bikes and wanted a good bike to be able to hang with my friends. David walked me through many bikes with good knowledge and info you can understand. I did not know that so much went into mt bikes and was amazed at some of the prices.

Ended up walking out with a giant reign x1 and I love it. I'm still slow but can go anywhere my friend go and can still climb.

Keep up the good work Soul Cycles!!!
