DESCRIPTION

We love riding bikes. Mountain, road, commuting, multisport. For fun, fitness, competition, adrenaline, transportation, exploration and sometimes for therapy – biking provides all this and more. Riding a bike is good for your body, good for the whole family, and if substituted for a car once in a while, even good for your finances and for the environment.

We’ll try to make it easy for everyone from experts to newbies to kids to get whatever they need for their riding. To provide a simple, comfortable and efficient place with great service, fair prices, good advice, cool products… and did we mention great service?

We aim to support riding, riders and our community. We especially want to help kids and youth ride safely and ride more. To this end Different Bikes plans to contribute a fixed percentage of its pre-tax profits to local charities and organizations that support health, fitness, safety, and access.

great selections of bikes. Felt very comfortable at the shop. Didnt feel like i was buying a used car from a shady business man. Bike i purchased was on sale and he gave me a few more dollars off cause i asked. Very knowledgeable and lots of patience with customers. I haven't rode a bike in 15 years and bikes have come a long way from when i was a kid. This shop educated me about everything i needed to know about bikes. I was gonna purchase a much more expensive bike but with the questions they asked me and with there knowledge they steered me into the right direction and chose a buy that was perfect for what i was using it for. They werent hiding anything but wanting me to make the right choice. I even went home before i bought the bike and did more research about what they were trying to sell me.....with all the reviews online matching what the bike shop told me i felt a sigh of relief knowing that they were being genuine and not out there to rip me off. They even let me try 4 bikes to get a feel of what a mountain, hybrid, road felt like..( tried 2 hybrids)... they didnt get annoyed of how long i took and professionally assisted me with everything. Thanks different bikes for making it a great experience.

Customer Service

Bob was the one who helped me with my purchase. He was great and not pushy. The whole staff was great. I went to 3 different stores and everyone of them had a friendly staff but when it came to buying they really tried to upsell me on eveything without even explaining why i should buy it.

Do your homework when you buy your bike. Shop around......and at the end of it all if the prices are the same pick the staff that really cares. Because remember when it comes for a tune up why not have piece of mind with someone you trust not ripping you off.

The shop may be small in comparison to other bike shops in Vancouver, but their knowledge and friendly service blows the competition away. I live in Whistler and have access to several bike shops in town, but traveling to Different Bikes is worth it! And if they get special pricing on something they pass the savings on to the customer and don't try to make the extra buck.

Customer Service

I have nothing but praise about their customer service. They know their stuff, and treat you like a friend. They fix what's broken, recommend what you need and don't try to upsell you just to make more money.

These guys rock! I was looking for a shop that I could go to and get everything I need, somewhere where I could just drop my bike off and know they were gonna take real good care of it! These guys went above and beyond - super helpful, they carry loads of great gear and are more than willing to cut me a deal on stuff.

Customer Service

Like I said, these guys were really helpful. They tuned up my bike, made some great reccommendations for getting some parts fixed (that were in my best interest, but not necessarily theirs, i.e. they didn't really stand to make any money out of their reccommendations), and were just generally stellar in their approach to sorting out my bike for me.

These guys are the new Rocky Mountain dealer in West Vancouver. I used to deal with Jeff when he was at Cove Bikes so it was nice to be able to continue buying Rocky Mountain from him in this new location. They are a small shop with the guys who own it right there in the shop, not hiding in an office in the back somewhere, so customer service is always delivered by someone with a vested interest in customer satisfaction.

Customer Service

I bought a new Rocky from them in January (one of the first bikes sold through their doors) and had great service. They're speedy about getting new stuff or special orders in, and I've had great backup service on the new bike and I've had great assistance on parts warranty, even on my older Rocky bikes and components.

You never have to wait while a sales guy wanders off to ask the boss something, you're talking to the people that can give you the answers all the time.

This shop is a bit like the "Cheers" of bike shops, they remember your face and name when walk in.

These guys are the new Rocky dealer on the North Shore. I used to deal with Jeff when I was buying my Rocky's from Cove Bikes, so it's nice to be able to deal with him again at Different Bikes. It's a small shop with really good service. The guys that own the place aren't hiding in an office in the back, they're all right there within 20' of the showroom floor, so customer service is always delivered by someone with a vested interest in customer satisfaction.

Customer Service

I've had really good backup service for my new Rocky I bought in January, and they've been good at helping me out with warranty on Race Face products that were on my original Rocky bikes I bought from Cove Bikes.

A good inventory of bikes and parts, good turnaround on getting new items in or special orders. I like the fact that you don't have to cope with the sales person wandering off to ask someone else questions everytime you ask something.

Different Bikes is kinda like the "Cheers" of bike shops, they remember you when you walk in.
