| This picture shows that with the new Shimano Direct Mount we are able to create whatever shape at the Bottom Bracket that we can envision. The Direct Mount gives Rocky Mountain Bicycles the ability to shape the BB for more stiffness as we are no longer constrained by the conventional round tube shape. A stiffer BB means 100% of your pedal stroke goes into your forward motion.
