Cobalt Wheels: xc race wheels at only 1540g per set. The extruded alloy rim is 19mm wide (inside width) and welded. The rim is fully machined along the inside edge for maximum weight savings. There are no holes drilled through the rim making it naturally tubeless and increasing the strength and stiffness tremendously. There are 24 double butted 1.6-2.0 "twinpair" spokes.
The pawl system uses 6 oversized pawls with alternating 3-pawl engagement, yielding 48 clicks per revolution for instant engagement (7.5 degree maximum free-run before engagement). Each wheel is hand-built in the USA.
