Strength:

Super solid cranks, never had a problem with them. Mine are the silver ones, so apart from the worn-off text, they still look like new after years.

Weakness:

I have had the crank screw cap come loose once causing the right crank arm to have a lot of movement mid-ride, but I made it home and it was nothing to do with the actual cranks, just a failure to check that cap regularly

Strength:

It is a very solid crank.

Weakness:

None that I can think of.

I have these crank on 2 bikes and I have never had one thing go wrong with them...listen to a guy that has been using these cranks for more than 2 years...I am a heavy guy (250) and I have barely rubbed the paint off of the arms....and I ride almost everyday...I ride trails...and its not like Im gentle with the bike either...bottom line....they are tough as nails.

Strength:

Makes a good paperweight.

Weakness:

Poorly designed interface, heavy, makes a lot of noise, bottom bracket does not last, etc.

I had these cranks very briefly.

They are HEAVY! I downgraded from Saints to these since I got a deal and I needed money. What a mistake. These cranks are about the same weight as Saints and are not nearly as reliable.

The interface is an interference fit. So everytime the cranks are removed and installed, a bit wears off. Eventually the spindle/crank interface becomes too worn and it will make noise and it will not stay tight.

Unlike the Shimano design, the bearing preload cannot be adjusted independently. You have to fumble with spacers and then torque the bolt.

Since the spindle is attached to the left side, it also makes the setup of a chainguide a bit more time consuming. That's not such a bit deal, but a pain.

I had issues with the pedal inserts creaking as well.

The bottom bracket started feeling very gritty after just 3 months. And this was with proper frame prep.

If you're on a budget and don't ride hard, then these cranks are certainly better than low end square taper/ISIS offerings. But in my experience, they have proven to be unreliable.

Look alright, reasonably strong.

Weakness:

heavyish, i Bent a crankarm, Wouldn't recomend them go for something like the atlas or Saints

Alright cranks wouldn't recomend them, but if them come stock on a bike or you can get a good deal on them get em. Ive bent a crank arm though and needed to buy a whole new crankset

Crank arms, X-type bottom bracket, looks

Weakness:

They are heavy but who cares.

These cranks are awesome!! I am 250 and the crank arms don't flex. I feel real sturdy when I am thrashing down stair cases. If you don't like tightening the bottom bracket every time you ride get these cranks. I ran my 44t in to some concreate the other day. I wore the paint off and a couple teeth chiped, but the chainring was not bent. These cranks look real cool too. You can't beat the price and strength of this product.

Strength:

Thats it, Its super strong.

Weakness:

None. But, if you buy the tripple ring crank, you must grind down the granny gear bosses to use a chainguide, because thats why they have the single and tripple ring options. I got the tripple because it was on sale and modded it to fit.

These cranks have to be the best mtb cranks ive had so far. They feel stiff and pedal great. Highly recomend if you want strength.

Raceface

Weakness:

When installing the first time, youll need a pipe to put on the end of your wrench to be able to tighten the crank onto the axle, it gets extremely tight! at first i was waiting for something to break, but dont worry, thats how its meant to be, oh and a couple of drops of loctite on the crank bolt will stop peoples loosening problems

These cranks are brilliant, from now on i will always use raceface cranks
