Stiff....stiff. did I say stiff.
The blue color I ordered wasn't exactly what I thought it would be but its grown on me.
I got the flat version of this bar and I couldn't be happier. I cut it down to 700mm and its just right, 800mm is almost practical joke wide. The back sweep is perfect and the torque it provides when turning is solid and direct. Super stiff looks good and not a bad price.

Wide and strong.
Nope
I have 2 of these. A 20mm rise and 35mm rise. Ran the 35mm for the summer on a 140mm fork and loved them, now Ive got a 160mm fork, so I went down to the 20mm rise. Both work just as bars should. However, if I had a gripe at all, its that each bar is made from a different type aluminum. The 35mm rise are butted 6061 T6, the 20mm rise is double butted AL2014. I have no idea what that means, but I do know the 20mm AL2014 feel way more tough. I loved the 35mm 6061 T6, thought these were great and had no complaints when riding with them. But these AL2014 are way more burly, slightly thicker in diameter too.

wiiiide, strong
none so far
I was told that my purchased-used Holzfeller at 24" was a travesty and given a Torsion Race 50. I've got nothing against the Holzfeller, but these are lighter and still feel as solid. I'm still getting used to the length difference (cut down to 28"), but so far loving it. Looks nice too. Retail for $50ish won't break the bank like those fancy carbon bars.

They're quite good for downhilling only on wide, open tracksand preferentially for someone with long arms. Hence if you are a dwarf who rides cross country on single tracks these bars are not for you. After measuring them for length I realised why I kept clipping trees. They are over 4 cms wider than the bars I have been using (Azonic dh risers). 4 cms might not sound like much but it definitely cost me a race when I clipped a tree right on the end of the bar. The azonics are perfect for me so I'm cutting the Kore's down by 3 cms Then they should be fine (but then again I'm not a dwarf and I've got another bike for XC).So for now they get 2 / 5

This bar is a must for people who want the riser bar setup but want all the space they can get. It's a good, solid bar but it's heavy. It's around 400grams so that quite a hefty bar. I dunno...people say it looks stupid but i think it looks better then all the rest (besides those cool carbon/kev weave stuff)
Get one if you can get it cheap. BUT DON'T BUT THE ELITE VERTSION! Kore has them on recall...they are prone to breaking!you pal,
