Description:Shimano's M960 XTR cassette cogs offer the ultimate in reliable, smooth shifting for 9 speed drivetrains. Each cog is drilled out for lightness and mounted via a light alloy carrier that increases rigidity while reducing weight. To further reduce weight, the 4 largest cogs are constructed from titanium.

Bottom Line:I'm contemplating on NOT getting this cassette again, but a few of the reviews are actually pretty good so I might decide to go with it again.....I was racing on Sunday5/25 and cracked this cassette on a hill which caused my foot to pop out of the pedal and bounce off the stem, which caused me to throw around cuss words like a sailor! I didnt have the middle range of gears after that but it wasnt bad enough for me to stop racing, I was still able to finish and actually do pretty good considering mt problem...this cassette can break! it doesnt mean it will, but it can happen...
