Description:So some people just can’t take 6 inches it seems. Ahead of our time? Maybe. The SC32 slides right on our ML7 bike to provide almost 5” of single-crown magic. Other companies spec it on their 4 and 5” travel bikes.

Featuring all of the inverted goodness of the DUC32, just with a single crown, a traditional 1 1/8” steerer and an inch shorter travel. Adjustable features include rebound, air pressure, oil volume and viscosity. All in a 3.8 pound package.

Favorite Trail:anything in houghton or the keweenaw
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:Came with the bke
    Strengths:The fork looks really cool.
Weaknesses:Nothing big...except, quality and costumer service. The damper's pretty archaic. There are traditional 5" forks out there that are lighter and stiffer
Similar Products Used:rock shox, manitou, fox
Bike Setup:palomino, full xtr, maverick fork
Bottom Line:Other than the aesthetics, this fork really doesn't have much going for it. Inside a year, the seals blew out of the bottom of this fork THREE different times. Since I live in Boulder, I would just drop it off at the Maverick HQ to get rebuilt. The last time this happened, i was told that i should be taking my bike to a shop to get fixed...and not in a really polite way either. After getting a little upset and letting them know that this indeed was the THIRD time in a year...the first year, they did fix it. I'm a 160 lb. XC guy. This fork was on the bike that I rode occasionally. There’s no way that this should have happened. They claim five inches of travel, I was getting more like four. The lock down mechanism only locked down about an inch. As i know a lot of people around these parts that have had the same problem, i would not recommend this fork to anybody. I'm just getting around to writing this review because I just got back from a race where aother friend of mine was complaining about it taking almost three weeks to get his fork back from Maverick. Save yourself the grief.

Strengths:Superlight and superstiff! Handles amazing! The stroke is butter smooth. Really easy to setup and the climbing mode is sweet.
    Weaknesses:Limited hub selection for 24mm.
    Similar Products Used:Rock Shox, Marz
    Bike Setup:Full XO & FSA
Bottom Line:Awesome fork. I wish they made a 4" travel version.
