$800.00 | | Purchased At: | Performancebike.com | | Strengths: | I got the 06 Ojiki and I LOVE the Orange color. An all around solid bike. For the price I paid, I just coulnd't even come close to this with any other bike. I am a huge ironhorse fan and this bike is my 4th ironhorse but my first downhill style bike. I am only 5'3" so I needed to get a 15" bike for downhill. Since all the "downhilll" bikes only come in 16", I found this bike on clearance and snagged it. | | Weaknesses: | The fork is nice, but if you want to do some serious downhill action, get rid of it. The plus side is this fork is it's not sold after market in the usa so ebay it and you will get some $$$ back. As for the rear shock, again, this isn't great for downhill either, get a DHX or roco world cup. The bike really is a freeride bike, but with an upgraded fork and shock, you can kick some serious butt with this thing. This head angle is tighter and not as raked out like most downhill bikes so keep this in mind when upgrading components. | | Similar Products Used: | Sohon Bucho | | Bike Setup: | I added an e.13 DRS chainguide, Marz supper t and DHX 5.0 | | Bottom Line: | A great bike that comes ready to go but leaves a lot of room for flexibility of upgrades. If you're a lighter rider (160 or lighter) this will make a great freeride bike just as it is. If you want to use this for downhill riding or if you're a heavier freerider, be prepared to upgrade some stuff. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2000.00 | | Purchased At: | Evens cycles | | Strengths: | Very strong frame, and extremly good components for the price! It handles big jumps and hard landings very well. also makeing the small bumps feel smooth as anything. dont be worryed about the single crown forks eather the z1's are extreemly strong. They may only be 150mm but they do take downhill very well. also bearing in mind the size of the head set you should have noo worrys about strength up front. not too heavy eather witch is nice. the juciy threes are very good they fether brilliently and provide more than enough stopping power for me. (i waigh around 140lbs), for me this bike could not be any Better. | | Weaknesses: | iv not had too many problems witch feels strange for me as i was ust to riding an old saracen. after a few weeks of rideing i realised there was some movement in the bolt locking the rear pivot to my shox. not caused ant trouble but i will have it fixed by next week. apart from this i have had no trouble at all | | Similar Products Used: | kona stinky | | Bike Setup: | stock 2007 meadium frame BIG thing to remember when buying frame sizes meadium or large it has a curved frame only small has a strait frame witch is as seen on most pitures of the bike. i honestly prefer the curve anyway give you good clearence down below. | | Bottom Line: | The geometry if this bike is perfect, makes it excelent for any moderate freerider (nothing too huge, proberbly limit at 40ft+ with a good landing) gives it nice balence in the air tho. It also ajustes to downhill very well glideing you over the rocky sections, the handeling overall seems to be good, i became useto it immediatly, it pulls out of tight turns easyly and seems well balenced through the big rocky areas. The FUNN bars are extreemly wide tho makeing it hard in tight sections, my knucles have took a beating once or twice. this bike realy dose fill you with confidence the single pivot system feels very strong beneath you. it is an excelent bike for beginners at downhill and freeride, im hitting drops and jumps i wouldn't have thought possible a few months back. also when rideing the downhill tracks i suprise myself how well i can take them. overall i would say very good value for money you can tell that alot of testing has been carryed out by ironhorse to give this bike the perfect feel. ten out of ten | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1339.00 | | Purchased At: | rscyles | | Strengths: | Great bike all around. spec'ed out very nice, I get ohh's and ahh's from freinds with way more expensive setups. The suspension and frame size (medium) work great for me 5'11 210 lbs, I have taken some good size drops and havnt had any problems yet. I highly recomend this bike for anyone just getting into freeride or a seasoned vet, you will be very pleased. aslo note that the top tube on the medium and large frames are curved while the small is straight... I like the curved bar myself it allows for more clearance for "the boys" | | Weaknesses: | the I beam saddle it came with is brutal on your posterior, replace it. | | Similar Products Used: | big hit's, Transition, kona | | Bike Setup: | all stock except the tires Maxxis high rollers, a must for the urban enviroment | | Bottom Line: | GREAT BIKE..... if your contemplating something else go with this. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1700.00 | | Purchased At: | Round House Bike Shop | | Strengths: | (i have the 2007 model) Very strong frame, color is good, the bike looks great with a marzocchi super T on it, but the stock fork (marzocchi z.1 sport) is very plush and works well on smaller drops and jumps, and some medium sized ones with smooth landings. the oversized bars on the bike are awesome, though they might be a problem in tight trails because they are so wide. the rear suspension is super-smooth, and absorbs small bumps and larger ones, and make large drops feal like much smaller ones. the pedals are also very grippy, and huge, which is always nice. i love this bike, and would definitely suggest getting one! | | Weaknesses: | almost none, though my seat did hit my rear wheel when i went off a high drop, but that was because i had the seat set really low, and also put back further than it probably needs to be. i readjusted the seat and it hasn't hit the tire since then. other than that, i have found no weaknesses with the bike, it is awesome! | | Similar Products Used: | my first true freeride bike. | | Bike Setup: | 15"...marzocchi super T and fox van R rear shock | | Bottom Line: | this bike is awesome for small-medium sized drops and jumps (5-20 ft drops unless the landing is really steep, in which case you can go bigger) the bike is super smooth, and i would suggest buying it unless you want to hit really huge drops. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$899.00 | | Purchased At: | Randall Scott Sucks! | | Strengths: | Everything but the rear shock. | | Weaknesses: | The rear shock and the inability to upgrade at cost! Do not expect good customer service from Randall Scott. | | Similar Products Used: | M1, RM7, etc | | Bike Setup: | No set up now. Un-ridable because Randall Scott wants to pop me for full price on a DHX 5.0 when they said they would do it for cost! | | Bottom Line: | The bike is still amazing. Randall Scott was o.k. at first but I would never buy from them again. All I need is an upgraded rear shock? I rode the thing with the manitou two days and the rear tire flexed all the way into the seat and broke it in two from a 5 foot drop. It was nothing. I do not think I am asking too much. I already dropped $1000.00. The 100% satisfaction is BS Randall Scott is just like any shop they take your money and leave you hanging if something goes wrong. The OEM policies keep the manufactures from selling at cost upgrades to new bikes. This is causing injury and is bad policy. For a thirty day period after purchase of a "new" bike the owner should be give the option to upgrade at cost anything found inadequate for that rider. thank you and please support this idea. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$900.00 | | Purchased At: | rscycle.com | | Strengths: | very strong components, driveterrain feels strong and forgiving. incredible price and value. my hayes nine brakes are still breaking in, but they have great stopping power with the 8 inch rotours. | | Weaknesses: | the rear shock came with a 350 pound spring. which for myself, probably isn't enough. i weigh around 170 and 6 feet tall. i'm not huge, but if i ever want to do some decent size jumps and drops, i probably should swap out the spring or even the entire rear shock. the only thing i have actually had a problem is, is the quick release for the rear tire. if that even comes loose, the entire wheel will fall off, and i have done a bit of damage to my rear derailleur. there is nothing else holding the wheel in. so keep that tight, and you shouldn't run into troubles. | | Similar Products Used: | kona coiler, specialized bighit, specialized hardrock | | Bike Setup: | stock | | Bottom Line: | none of my friends can get over the fact that i only paid 900 dollars for this bike. it has many of the same components as their 1600-1700 dollar bikes. it feels strong on all of my local trails, including downhill, cross country, jumps, drops, and bridges. i'm sure it could handle going to a bike park, such as mount snow which is where i'll be heading. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$899.00 | | Purchased At: | Randal Scott | | Strengths: | Price, and it is tough. Well balanced and stiff. | | Weaknesses: | The rear shock is a Manitou Metel R it sucks the big one and has a 300 lbs spring to boot? Very week almost stupid. | | Similar Products Used: | RM7, M1, Kona DH bikes. | | Bike Setup: | This is the first time I bought a much smaller frame a 15 inch is what they call it but so far it is perfect. I have the front at 40 lbs and the sag at 7lbs. The rear shock is going to be replaced but I set everything for a 220 lbs rider. I am 190 lbs. I like between 15% and 25% sag. Tires are -5 lbs of max. | | Bottom Line: | The bike is amazing more accomplished riders must upgrade the rear shock immediatly or they will bust ass. I bottomed out the rear shock and the tire hitting the seat broke the seat in half. The bike also does not come with a shock pump? Randal Scott was cool and gave me a new seat. They also have a nice pump I got for $25.00 from them if you order one of these bikes you will need it. The other componets you can upgrade as you destroy them. I have no idea why anybody could not figure that out. Thanks Randal Scott great bike great price great customer service. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1200.00 | | Purchased At: | Performance bikes | | Strengths: | EVERYTHING. The Brakes are great along with the:shifters, suspension, seat post tube length, e-thirteen chain gard, everything is wonder full. The brakes will SAVE YOUR LIFE. the shifters are just convenient. The suspension will save your wrists and landings (despite the weight addition). I have a 17" and when you drop it all the way down you have really good mobility room but also lots of clearance under the bottom bracket. even with this clearance however the e-thirteen chain guard will save everything. Love the Marzocchi dorp off 3. | | Weaknesses: | If tuned and tightened properly the bike works great. Her are some things to watch out for... If you are a downhiller don't crash and pull the hydraulic brake out, not cheap. If you are a freestyle person heres the deal, you have a downhill set up where the Derailleur is mounted on the wheel (I forgot the name of this) before you go riding tighten the rear quick release with a 6mm hex wrench or your wheel might come off. THESE TWO THINGS ARE MY FAULT ENTIRELY AND ARE NOT REASONS TO NOT BUY THE BIKE. | | Similar Products Used: | norco, specialized, kona | | Bike Setup: | Yakuza frame, Marzocchi drop off 3, hayes nine hydraulic brakes, Sram shifters, dual duty rims, Truvative cranks and head set. | | Bottom Line: | AWESOME!AWESOME!AWESOME!While rideing you will say to your self countless times "WOW" and "OH MAN AMI SURE GLAD I HAVE THAT" | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1700.00 | | Purchased At: | sport chek | | Strengths: | pretty much every thing on the bike is all good | | Weaknesses: | the fork is a littoe soft but just needs to be pumped up and when i cased a jump the derailer cable slipped out. and it doesn't shift into the small chainring easily | | Similar Products Used: | kona stinky, norco savage, specialized big hit | | Bike Setup: | the bike i got was a 2006so it was a little different but all stock, it has a marzocchi drop off 3 fork and a shimano hone derailer. i also has an sdg belair seat. otherwise it is the same as the 2005 | | Bottom Line: | The price is in Canadian dollars so don't be alarmed. everything is amazing on this bike. every thing runs peerfect except for the front derailer (wich can be ajusted) and the derailer incident. As soon as i got this bike i started doin every thing that is around my house and it has done almost every thing perfectly. the seven inches of travel in the back and six in the front soak up every thing perfectly, it even climbs half decent too. the bike is amazing for the price. i absolutely love this bike and would recomend it to any one just getting into freeriding or someone with more experience that is on a budget. If want too get into downhill racing you shouldn't buy this bike because the geometry isn't set up and the fork and shock probably couldn't handle it. if you are more of a cross country type this bike would be much too heavy and it only climbs really good when you are in the seat. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1500.00 | | Purchased At: | go-ride | | Strengths: | stiff fork and front end-1.5 headtube. stable on fast descents. low price. poor man's bullit. climbs efficiently for type of bike. Good standover ht. for short person. Iron Horse e-mails back fast. Overall feels solid. lots of travel. | | Weaknesses: | name of bike/model. soft fork springs for 180# rider. chain slap. stock saddle/post-i beam, can't easily change out saddle and uncomfortable. one bolt for rear shock mm too long resulting in slop in the rear triangle. No toll- free tel.# for iron horse. weight 40.5# | | Similar Products Used: | Santa Cruz Bullit & Specialized Enduro(both in the parking lot). SC superlight, RM element& insight, and Kona hardtail. | | Bike Setup: | Mostly stock, Terry fly saddle, Avid BB7 w/ 8" rotors, firm spring kit for fork. | | Bottom Line: | I really wanted a SC bullit, but it was too expensive(over 2X as much). I researched alot of bikes over the internet and nothing touches this for the amount of travel, 7" rear and 6" front, for the money. I was impressed when I got to see/feel it at the shop. I'm really happy with this bike after riding it out at the resort. I have a season pass @ snowbasin resort and this bike is overkill for the trails (so far) there and for the riding I do. It's mostly single track with lots of switchbacks and sections of loose rock. The overall build quality seems solid and this bike can climb and handle tight turns. I'm mostly x-country rider and wanted to take advantage of the gondola/lift assist riding in the area, without abusing my SC Superlight. The salesguy also pointed out that the pivot point is lower on the tube than on the Bullit-maybe that's why the pedaling feels efficient. The slop in the rear triangle was fixed by adding a small washer to tighten it up. I'm sure I'll be adding more jumps and drops to my riding now that I have this bike. I'm 5'7" and ride sz. med. and standover is not a problem. Solid, lots of fun and a steal at $1250.00 but I changed the brakes(don't want to mess with hydraulic fluid), added stiffer fork spring, and bought a cheap seatpost (to put an old terry cut out saddle on) that bumped up the overall price. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

You can ride the bike off a ledge and not worry if it will buckle under you. | | Weaknesses: | The I Beam seat systems it last all of three rides. The Manitou fork is a little soft needs a stiffer spring. Maxxis highrollers tires aren't my favorite. | | Similar Products Used: | Only a Kona Dawg | | Bike Setup: | 19" frame, Metel R rear shock, Manitou Stance Blunt 150mm axle thru, Truvativ finishing kit cranks, stem and handle bars. | | Bottom Line: | The Ojiki might not be the most well know or expensive bike out there but it will get the job done.
