Submitted by Too Much Fun a Cross Country Rider from NC
    Date Reviewed: May 23, 2004
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:Fox Home Page via Web
Strengths:Excellent feel, very light weight and confortable that will save your skins. You will forget that you have them on!
Weaknesses:Durablility, Have crashed several times with them. They have gotten a couple of tiny holes in them. Get dirty quickly and hard to clean.
    Bike Setup:Kona
Bottom Line:Excellent shin guard for the cross country rider, (yep, I know they are for BMX) They are very light and confortable and offer all the protection that an XC rider could want. Would not reccomend these for free rider or downhiller. Sure they got a little dirty and a couple of small holes (use about 2-3x a week for 6 months) but these are too sweet. Bought another set to replace my old ones.
got mine from http://shop.foxracing.com for 29.99 plus shipping. (look under BMX shin guards) could find them any cheaper anywhere else.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $50.00
Strengths:light and comfy, close fit, easy to hose clean, seem to work.
Weaknesses:Can be warm, start to smell....cat keeps sleeping on them.
    Similar Products Used:none
    Bike Setup:stumpjumper
Bottom Line:I know these are bmx pads, i wanted something to keep the gorse ( a spikey plant) and cutty grass (self-explainatory) that has overgrown alot of the forestry tracks off my legs, also when i muck around on flat pedals i have decorated my shins before.

I like... seem ok to wear even on 2 hour rides, get sweaty but neoprene soaks it up, temp around 20-25 centigrade. no more itchy, cut up legs.

Submitted by Mark Goodwin a from Shediac Cape, New Brunswick, Canada
    Date Reviewed: April 9, 2002
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $60.00
    Purchased At:Mike's Bike Shop
Strengths:Sweat absorbing, keeps your legs worm, lots of padding, at a good price
Weaknesses:Right before you buy these pads measure around your shin and when u do use a measuring tape and wrap it around your leg tight cause if you dont you'll get the wrong size. Trust me I know :)
    Bike Setup:Haro (garbage) Revo
Bottom Line:These are a great all around shin guard.
