    Date Reviewed: April 8, 2005
    Favorite Trail:Waldo Lake
    Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Reasonably light and rigid. Very comfortable bend (9 degree) and width (600mm). Aluminum is nice for comfort.
Weaknesses:A little heavier than some carbon stuff out their
    Similar Products Used:Most everything.
Bike Setup:Bianchi Super Grizzily with Spinner fork; Sunrace/XTR drivetrain; Magura brakes; SDG I-beam seat/post, Syntace bar/stem; Kenda tires; Crank Bros pedals.
Bottom Line:Unmatched test results and comfort. Reasonable price. Great choice for riders who want performance not gimmicks.

    Weaknesses:None yet !
Similar Products Used:Easton carbon (too expensive !)
    Bike Setup:Cannondale F4000 SL
Bottom Line:Very good handlebar ! Very strong, can also be used for rough work. I prefer this one in stead of other lighter carbon handlebars. Made in Germany !

Submitted by Andreas a Cross Country Rider from Zuerich, Switzerland
    Date Reviewed: October 26, 2004
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $75.00
Purchased At:TNC Hamburg (bad customer service)
Weaknesses:My wife had this handlebar on her bike. After a light fall which happend when she was just starting to ride, this so "durable" handlebar was gone. Syntace didn't gave any replacement on garantie. Now we bought another more stable handlebar which is somne 2 gramms heavier but holds.
Bottom Line:Don't buy it. One light fall und this handlebar is gone!

Submitted by Bill a Racer from Germany
    Date Reviewed: August 17, 2001
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Strengths:Lightweight, superb quality
    Weaknesses:None
    Similar Products Used:Ritchey
Bottom Line:Forget the rest. Get this. Two years of being thrashed at warp speed have not even come close to even scratching it. The finish is that good. Whatever your standard, you won't find anything that compares. It is also not expensive and has beaten the so-called competition hands-down for the last 4 years in bike magazine reviews in Germany.

And they should know about good quality!

Weaknesses:None so far, hard to find had to call 1-800-syntace to find dealer.
    Similar Products Used:bontrager racelite, ttt
Bottom Line:this bar can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee!

Submitted by Gilligan a cross-country rider from Germany
    Date Reviewed: July 20, 1998
    Bottom Line:
This has really got to be the best handlebar that is out there. Just look at the crash test/durability tests. It surpassed Syncros and RaceFace by a long shot.
I got those bars after my cheap Modolo bar broke. Since then I have really tested it hard and it hasn't failed on me yet. Very good!
