Frame: Because its free, Fork: I want preformanc for XC with the ability to handle drops, Rear Deraileur: SRAM X-0 its the best, Front Deraileur: Its good enough, Hubs: Nearly infinite engaguement points, Brakes: Keep it simple no messy fluid, Shifters: Its nice to have more adjustability in the front, Rear Shock: Nice dampening and you don't need 5-way adjustability
